MEET THE TEAM
Fiscal Supervisor - Hello, my name is Liz Fitzgerald. I’m a native from the South Shore of Massachusetts. Resettled in greater Nashua in the mid-90’s. I’m a mom of two grown college age children and wife to Nashua School District Teacher. I know firsthand how investing time and resources into our children and families early will exponentially strengthen our community in the long run. Growing up as the daughter of New Americans, I also understand how important it is to feel a sense of belonging and connection to your community.
I serve our community as the Director of Community Impact for United Way of Greater Nashua and I am part of the founding team that established the Smart Start Regional Early Childhood Coalition. I believe that investing in the early years is the most important work we can do in support of our community. It has been
really exciting to see and be a part of our local community coming together to invest our energy, ideas and resources so that every child in our community has the best possible start to life. By helping to strengthen families and build on each other’s strengths as a community, we are making the kind of investment that will pay off big time in the future. Everyone’s voice is needed.
